At Faith United, Hospitality is more than a handshake — it’s about creating a space where everyone feels the love of Christ from the moment they walk in. From welcoming guests to hosting special events, this ministry helps make our church feel like home.
We focus on meaningful action, not just meetings. The Hospitality Team supports a wide variety of events and ministries throughout the year, including:
Held on the last Sunday of each month, Birthday Sunday is a joyful time of fellowship following worship.
The Hospitality Ministry serves cake and refreshments as we celebrate all those with birthdays that month—a sweet way to share life together!
Each spring, the Hospitality Ministry helps host a special banquet to honor our Confirmation students and their families.
It’s a celebration for the entire church family—a joyful reminder of how faith continues to grow across generations.
Funeral Hospitality
As an expression of love and care, the Hospitality Ministry also serves cookies and beverages during funeral visitations and before services.
This quiet act of compassion offers comfort to grieving families and helps our church embody Christ’s gentle presence during difficult times.
Hospitality is more than service—it’s our way of saying, “You belong here.”
And while we don’t have to do anything, we get to do a lot—for Christ, for one another, and for our community.
We’d love to have you! Whether you enjoy baking, decorating, organizing, or simply welcoming others. There’s a place for you here. Contact the church office or Lay Minister Linda Keiper to learn more.
